KARZIS, LINOS (Athens, 1894 - 1978) Intellect and director, founder of the "THIMELIKOS THIASOS", a devoted adherent of the Ancient Drama's rebirth as well as translator who basically followed the ancient prototypes' metres. He directed the majority of the classical ancient texts with ulti- mate consistency, often cooperating with great actors (Katrakis, Kyveli and others).
