SYNODINOU, ANNA (Loutraki, 1927) One of the greatest actresses of the greek theatre, she graduated from the Drama School of the National Theatre (1949) and took part in many of its productions, mainly in greek tragedies ("Antigone", "Oresteia", "Troyan Women", "Hecuba") and recently in plays of the modern Greek Theatre ("The secret of Contessa Valeraina", "The lover of the shepherd-girl"). |
