PAPAMICHAIL, DIMITRIS (Pireas, 1935 - 2004) Actor, an important member of the National Theatre from his early steps on stage (1955), he appeared in great roles next to excellent protagonists (Checkov's "Seagull" with Kyveli, Sophocles' "Antigone" with Anna Synodinou, Hortatsis' "Erophili" with Vasso Manolidou). During his career, he also cooperated with Karolos Koun (Uncle Vanya"), with Aliki Vouyiouklaki (1965-1974), he acted successfully at the State Theatre of Northern Greece (Brecht's "Puntilla", Euripides' "Medea", Checkov's "The Cherry Orchard") and was also excellent working with Elli Lambeti and the AMPHI-THEATRE of Spyros Evangelatos. Prominent were his appearances in many greek films. |
